As BCI's Managing Director of Entertainment and Media Operations, Charles J. "Charlie" Weber brings to clients one of the strongest industry backgrounds in the entertainment and media-based consulting and merchant banking arenas. Under Mr. Weber's direction, the Entertainment and Media Operations practice at BCI includes the provision of multiple services to clients in the entertainment and media production business, themed and entertainment-based real estate projects, and entertainment and media driven technologies.

Over his career, Mr. Weber has led such prestigious entertainment companies as LucasFilm, Ltd. and Embassy Communications. His experience includes all phases of developing entertainment and media properties, with a special emphasis on development, production, and finance. He has served multiple clients in North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, and Asia.

Mr. Weber is rich with several years of "hands-on" entertainment and media experience. As President and Chief Executive Officer of LucasFilm, Ltd, Mr. Weber directly oversaw the development and production of such landmark motion pictures as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and More American Graffiti. While President of Embassy Communications, the television and motion picture production company owned by Norman Lear and Jerry Perenchio, Mr. Weber directed the development of multiple television programs and successful motion pictures such as Blade Runner. Most recently Mr. Weber has been developing several major entertainment opportunities for clients in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.

Mr. Weber has expanded BCI's historical presence in the entertainment field to provide new financing and management tools to clients with quality entertainment projects. Many of these entertainment projects are included in major new multiple-use real estate developments that focus on providing a substantial themed entertainment component.
